Laguna Bluff

The bluffs along Laguna's coastline have a warmth to them that surprises people — that golden sandstone catching afternoon light against the deep blue of the Pacific. This piece was painted plein air on location, capturing the headland as it juts into open water, waves breaking white at its base while the horizon stretches out beyond.
