Heat Wave is a study in warmth and autonomy. The figure sits in golden afternoon light, teal bikini, a sage cap shielding her from the world. The brushwork stays loose — skin built in warm ochres and flesh tones, the hat landed with flat confident strokes, her dark hair falling to one side like punctuation. There's an ease here that took intention to find.
